Our Food Intolerance Test analyzes sensitivity to 120 food items and 20 additives. You can easily and conveniently perform the test yourself at home. Your sample is then sent directly to our laboratory for analysis. You will receive your test results within approximately 8 working days.
The Quicktest Food Intolerance Test is a good first step if you suspect that you may suffer from food intolerance. It is also suitable for individuals with diffuse symptoms such as various forms of digestive problems, fatigue, headaches or skin problems.
Please note that the test cannot be performed on children under 3 years of age.

Our food intolerance test analyzes intolerance to 120 common foods as well as 20 common additives, preservatives, and colorings. The test also identifies which foods the immune system reacts to and which may be a contributing factor to various symptoms.
The analysis is done from a blood drop taken from a simple finger stick. The blood sample is sent with a pre-paid letter directly to our laboratory. Our Biomedical Analysts (BMA) analyze the sample and look for specific IgG antibodies for the most common foods and additives. High levels of specific IgG antibodies indicate that you have inflammation caused by food intolerance. When the analysis is complete, a digital comprehensive test report is sent to you, clearly showing which intolerances have been detected.
Food intolerance, or hypersensitivity reaction, to different foods and additives is becoming increasingly common. Food intolerance means that you lack the enzymes needed to break down and absorb certain foods. Common food intolerances are eggs, cow's milk, fish, citrus, shellfish and nuts. The body then has a lower tolerance for the food, and every time you consume it, a reaction is created in the body that gives rise to various discomforts and health problems, as well as increases the risk of other inflammatory diseases. Unlike allergies, symptoms of food intolerance are often delayed, which means that it can take several hours before any symptoms appear. This often makes it difficult to detect an intolerance and link it to something you have eaten.
Many symptoms are indistinct, such as:
A person with undetected food intolerance exposes their intestines to stress when they eat a substance that the intestines lack enzymes to break down. At each exposure, regardless of quantity, the intestinal villi are damaged, which can impair the ability to absorb vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. It is therefore common to see deficiency states in food intolerances, including Iron deficiency and Vitamin D deficiency.
Note! Our Food Intolerance Test cannot analyze intolerances for lactose, fructose, sorbitol, histamine, and gluten. Since these intolerances are not based on IgE or IgG4 antibodies, they can only be analyzed using other tests.
Food intolerance is due to an abnormal sensitivity to a food item and should not be confused with an allergic reaction. In an allergy, the body produces IgE antibodies that activate substances that release histamines. These usually create an immediate and often severe reaction after ingestion or exposure to the substance. In a food intolerance or sensitivity reaction, the body also produces antibodies, called IgG antibodies, which differ from those produced in an allergic reaction as they do not involve antibodies in the immune system.
By excluding the foods that you are intolerant to, the inflammatory process can be reduced and even disappear completely. In this way, the body can recover and gradually you can begin to try to reintroduce the food items again.
When the analysis is complete, a detailed digital test report is sent where you can clearly see any intolerances that have been detected. In the test result, you also receive recommendations on what you should avoid. The test result is based on the degree of intolerance corresponding to three different levels, so depending on how intolerant you are, you receive elimination and reintroduction recommendations thereafter.
Yes, the test can be performed on children over 3 years old.
No, it can also show if you are intolerant to a food that you have never eaten because your metabolism has a natural predisposition for intolerance (small variations in DNA for the genes that are most involved in food metabolism).
Yes, if you have a genetic predisposition for intolerance.
Our laboratory reads blood samples with the ELISA method, which is a Swedish invention at Stockholm University. It checks for specific antibodies (IgM) against proteins in each food item in the analyzed sample. When the result is positive, the reaction that takes place is quantified by an instrument (low-level, medium-high, or high-level).
The ELISA method is internationally recognized and has been approved by all institutes in the diagnostics world. The reliability is therefore high.
All tests are analyzed in our laboratory by specialized biomedical analysts and doctors. When the blood sample is received by our lab, you will receive your results within approximately 8 working days.
With an included lancet, you prick a chosen finger, and a drop of blood is placed on a special test pad. Stop the test pad in the prepaid envelope. Our laboratory analyzes your blood and when everything is ready, you will receive an email.
If you experience recurring symptoms such as upset stomach, headaches, skin rashes, or nasal congestion, it could be due to intolerance to one or more specific foods. Even additives commonly found in our food can cause problems.
Some people have symptoms that can be linked to food intolerance without knowing it. With a food intolerance test, you can get clear indications of which foods you should be careful with.
