What is analysed?
Latex k82
Natural rubber latex is found in gloves, balloons and medical devices. Cross-reactions with banana, avocado and kiwi are common.
What does sensitisation mean?
Detectable specific IgE indicates sensitisation, but does not automatically mean that exposure causes clinical allergy symptoms. The result must always be considered alongside symptoms and actual exposure.
