What is analysed?
Penicillium chrysogenum m1
An indoor mould found in buildings with moisture damage.
Cladosporium herbarum m2
Cladosporium is an outdoor mould most abundant during summer and early autumn.
Aspergillus fumigatus m3
Aspergillus occurs indoors and outdoors, including in damp environments and compost.
Alternaria alternata m6
Alternaria is an outdoor mould often associated with symptoms in late summer.
What does sensitisation mean?
Detectable specific IgE indicates sensitisation, but does not automatically mean that exposure causes clinical allergy symptoms. The result must always be considered alongside symptoms and actual exposure.
